Our History

The story of SkyTower began with the development of one of Romania’s most ambitious office buildings. Completed in 2012, SkyTower quickly became a Bucharest landmark and one of the most iconic buildings in the Floreasca–Barbu Văcărescu business district.

At 137 metres tall and with 37 floors, SkyTower is the tallest office building in Romania. Its location in one of Bucharest’s most important business hubs, together with its distinctive architecture, has established the building as a reference point for the local corporate environment.

The company has continuously invested in the transformation of common areas and in developing amenities that respond to the evolving ways in which people work. This approach has led to the creation of an ecosystem that includes spaces for socializing, relaxation, events and networking. SkyTower Urban Garden, the redesigned lobby, CAFELIER and NOR – Sky Casual Restaurant contribute to an experience that goes beyond the traditional office building concept.

Another important milestone in SkyTower’s evolution was the development of SkyHub Events Centre. Opened in 2022, the events centre was created by transforming and repurposing a former cafeteria area and provides approximately 450 square metres dedicated to professional events and meetings.

SkyHub Events Centre complements the SkyTower ecosystem with spaces designed for conferences, workshops, training sessions, management meetings and corporate events. The Auditorium, Executive Boardroom and Lounge & Cocktail Area provide companies with the flexibility to organize a wide range of event formats.

Over the years, investments have also focused on strengthening the building’s sustainability performance.
