Ramona Boca, PR & Marketing Manager for RPHI Romania I SkyTower, expressed her enthusiasm for this special SKYRUN edition:
We are happy to have been able to include this special edition in the SKY’S THE LIMIT programme, as it was the first time it was possible to organise the SkyRun on the 35th floor of the tower. While organizing SkyRun2023 the 35th floor has been rented and will be occupied again for a minimum of 5 years, but we hope to find other solutions to soon be able to repeat this unique vertical race that brings so much joy and satisfaction.”
SkyTower: A combination of events and culture in Romania’s tallest tower
The various events held at SkyTower transform this iconic office building into a social and cultural meeting place for the Bucharest community. In addition to the SkyRun, many other activities and attractions provide a variety of experiences and engagements. These include:
SkyKids & Family Fun Day: a day of outdoor summer play and climbing on the SkyTower esplanade on Climb Again’s 7-metre mobile climbing tower. The event is for parents, grandparents and especially children, with a sweet surprise for the most enthusiastic climbers at the top of the tower.
SkyLadies Day: Celebrates International Women’s Day in a unique way in the themed lobby of the SkyTower, where every lady entering the building receives a gift and a “martisor”.
SkyLove Day: a celebration of love, peace and tolerance which SkyTower marks with the release of thousands of biodegradable balloons from the tower’s terrace and esplanade, bringing the community together around important issues and providing a framework for expressing solidarity and the desire for change.
SkyCreatives and SKY’S THE LIMIT in SkyTower: The SkyTower team promotes cultural activities through art exhibitions and photography competitions for the general public. In addition, the country’s most impressive LED video wall is located in the SkyTower lobby and is a visual attraction used to showcase a wide range of video and photo content, making it a popular destination for visitors and captivating photo moments.
SkyTower, an active community: The opening of the SkyHub Events Centre last year brought a wide range of cultural and educational events to the SkyHub Amphitheatre, encouraging an active contribution to the social life of the community inside and outside the tower.
These activities and commitments highlight SkyTower’s commitment to the social and cultural sphere, making it a dynamic hub for the community.
