Bucharest, 16 October 2025 – SkyTower Bucharest, the tallest building in Romania and an iconic landmark in the local real estate sector, announces the completion of major investment works worth seven figures in euros, dedicated to the refurbishment and modernization of common areas.
The recent project has been focused on the complete refurbishment of the elevator lobby areas on 35 floors, from the 1st to the 35th floor, in accordance with the highest international standards of design and sustainability.
This major investment continues the series of modernizations implemented in recent years by SkyTower Bucharest, including:
- The transformation of one part of the esplanade into the SkyTower Urban Garden, an internationally award-winning space for architecture and design.
- The complete repurpose and refurbishment of a former cafeteria into SkyHub Events Centre, a community space dedicated to meetings and events featuring the first real auditorium fully integrated into an office building in Bucharest.
- The complete redesign and refurbishment of the main lobby area, now equipped with an impactful six metres tall and nine metres wide LED screen that represents the dynamic centerpiece of the welcome area.
- The design and opening of the CAFELIER café in the main lobby area.
