We are constantly mindful about improving the working environment for SkyTower tenants.
We run and maintain our equipment in the most efficient way possible, trying to understand our weak points, and consequently, improving our performance and Sky Tower’s ecological footprint. The LEED Platinum (O+M) certification confirms the high standards of SkyTower, from the design to the execution and operation of RPHI’s prime asset. This certification is the result of our focus towards efficiency, operational sustainability and reducing our environmental impact;,

said Bernd Steingruber, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of RPHI Romania, the management and ownership company of SkyTower.

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification process, awarded by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), took into account the fulfilment of a predetermined set of criteria. These were regarding the location of the building, access to transport and water efficiency. Other criteria taken into account during the certification process were energy and climate control efficiency, quality of the indoor environment, innovation and local environmental priorities.
